The Collegio Einaudi is a private institution connected to the University of Turin and to the Politecnico of Turin.
The “Renato Einaudi” university college of Turin was founded in 1935 and hosts each year (in single rooms) 774 university students enrolled on degree, specialisation, master and doctorate courses.
Admission is open to young students who gain the top positions in a merit-based contest (linked also to levels of income). Annual study grants are awarded for student fees based on the student's family economic status – these fees vary accordingly. The study grants are awarded to students who demonstrate best academic performance.
To retain their college place each year, students must achieve a set number of exams/credits, with an average of at least 24/30. The admission procedure opens from the end of June and can be found on the college website.
The College organises numerous cultural, recreational and sport activities. All guest students may use in turn a variety of subscriptions to Turin's theatre and music events. The College annually offers prizes for the highest degree marks and approximately twenty places on study holidays abroad.
The Collegio Einaudi is open all year round except for August and during Christmas holidays.
Entrance to Collegio is possible 24 hours a day.
