A concrete support to deserving university students in their educational path and, at the same time, a prestigious recognition for the young people who distinguished themselves most in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Collegio Einaudi presented its study awards to 19 female students and 31 students from Politecnico (27) and Università di Torino (23).

The winners were identified in the context of three separate merit rankings, one for students enrolled at the Politecnico, one dedicated to students of the humanities area of the University and a third for students of the scientific area also of the university, and based on an algorithm, which takes into consideration the exam average and the number of credits obtained during the year.

In the last academic year, the winning girls and boys achieved an exam average of 28.8/30 and thus obtained prizes with different amounts, from 2,500 to 500 euros, for a total of 48,500 euros.

An important figure, the result of donations from supporters of Collegio and contributions from organizations and associations, including the Municipality of Turin and the Rotary Clubs of the 2031 District, in response to the Accendi il futuro fundraising campaign, created with the aim of supporting the best deserving talents during their university training years.

Born on the occasion of the a.y. 2015/16, this initiative promoted by Collegio Einaudi has already disbursed, in seven years, 425 Study Awards, for a total of 414,000 euros given to young people and their families.

This is one of the many activities carried out by the Collegio, which offers its students, regardless of family income, social status and geographical origin, solid tools for completing a high-quality university education in a short time, in a culturally stimulating context.

At the same time, it guarantees concrete help to relieve families of the burden of keeping a child away from home, allowing promising young people to realize their dreams and set up a career that can have a future full of opportunities in Collegio and in the City of Turin.

“I would like to thank all the private individuals and organizations who, with their generosity, have once again made it possible to reward deserving students with study awards – commented Paolo Enrico Camurati, President of the Einaudi University College Foundation – Believe in young people , creating real opportunities for them, supporting the development of knowledge and making knowledge increasingly accessible is a mission for Collegio Einaudi and it is what will allow us to change the future, it will be the key to improving the society in which we live. Through study, research and training we will be able to answer the big questions of our time, making the best talents and the best solutions available to the community”
