Einaudi College ‘lights up the future’ of 46 deserving college students

A concrete support to deserving university students in their educational path and, at the same time, a prestigious recognition for the young people who distinguished themselves most in the 2022/2023 academic year.

Collegio Einaudi presented its study awards to 18 female students and 24 male students from Politecnico (31) and Università di Torino (11).

The winners were identified in the context of three separate merit rankings, one for students enrolled at the Politecnico, one dedicated to students of the humanities area of ​​the University and a third for students of the scientific area also of the university, and based on an algorithm, which takes into consideration the exam average and the number of credits obtained during the year.

In the last academic year, the winning girls and boys achieved an exam average of 29/30 and thus obtained prizes with different amounts, from 2,500 to 500 euros, for a total of 36,000 euros.

An important figure, the result of donations from supporters of Collegio and contributions from organizations and associations, including the Rotary Club Torino 1958, before known as Torino 45° Parallelo, SIAT (Society of Engineers and Architects of Turin) and AIEA (Italian Association of Auditors), in response to the Accendi il futuro fundraising campaign, created with the aim of supporting the best deserving talents during their university training years.

Born on the occasion of the a.y. 2015/16, this initiative promoted by Collegio Einaudi has already disbursed, in seven years, 467 Study Awards, for a total of 450,000 euros given to young people and their families.

In addition, 2 free and 3 semi-free study places have been assigned to students in economic difficulty, once again made possible thanks to the generosity of our donors, for a total of €10,000.

This is one of the many activities carried out by the Collegio, which offers its students, regardless of family income, social status and geographical origin, solid tools for completing a high-quality university education in a short time, in a culturally stimulating context.

At the same time, it guarantees concrete help to ease the burden of supporting a child away from home for families, enabling promising young people to realize their dreams and set a career that can have a future full of opportunities in the College and the City of Turin.
