What does Collegio of Merit mean?
-
The Collegio di Merito is more than just a university residence: it offers university students not only a space to live the university years but a real 360 ° experience: opportunities, incentives and rewards for study, integrative and transversal training compared to the university one and a lively and stimulating community, aimed at accompanying the path of the individual student.
It differs from university residences for the range of additional services compared to residential ones, and access is only possible through a selection process based on merit and personal motivation.
The Colleges of Merit are Bodies recognized and accredited by the Ministry of University and Research.

How do you enter Collegio Einaudi?

To enter Collegio Einaudi, it is necessary to participate in an admission procedure.

What opportunities does it offer?

Annual courses of supplementary training tailored to individual needs and interests;

How much does Collegio cost?

The rates are indicated each year by the Board of Directors of the Collegio and reported in the Admission and Confirmation process.
The annual fee consists of a fee to be paid by Collegio and a fee to be paid by the student.
All students pay special rates, thanks to the ministerial contribution and donations from organizations and individuals. -
Is Collegio Einaudi a public or private body?

The Collegio Einaudi Foundation is a private non-profit foundation, recognized and accredited by the MUR, which manages Colleges of Merit.

Can I live in Collegio even if I live in Turin?

Yes, living at Collegio Einaudi is a unique experience! And there are no geographical constraints. The right opportunity to try an experience of independence and autonomy and become part of a young community

If I am assigned a place to study at Collegio, will I be guaranteed for the entire university course?

All students of Collegio Einaudi, if they want to continue living in the following years at our Foundation, must participate in the confirmation process which provides for certain merit requirements.

Will someone be there to welcome me when I first enter Collegio?
-
You will find many figures to welcome you:
- at the reception, our custodians will give you the keys to the room and the badge, and will give you the basic information to start orienting yourself in the whole structure
- the Tutors, i.e. guest students like you at Collegio, will accompany you to your room, and will show you the section that will host you. The Tutors will be able to support you throughout the academic year regarding:
- the pursuit of the objectives set by the Personalized Training Plan
- access to the numerous opportunities and services of Collegio (e.g. calls, study awards, cultural initiatives, events …)
- understanding of university subjects and study paths.
- finally, after your entry into Collegio, you will meet the Section Director: present in each of the Collegio residence halls, he/she is the point of reference for what concerns community life and the training activities of the PFP.
Furthermore you can always count on your Delegates: each Section has its own representatives, called “Delegates”, who together form the Student Council, whose task is to propose, receive and evaluate proposals for improvement and / or integration of the activities and services that study place holders consider it to be of interest, forwarding any requests in this regard to the General Management

Can I take advantage of EDISU benefits if I live in Collegio?
-
Yes, for more requests for clarification on the EDISU call, it is suggested to contact the Regional Body for the Right to Education (EDISU) directly.
Only those who are the winner or winner of a study place in the College will be able to make use of the Einaudi option.
Furthermore, many of our offices are located near the EDISU university canteens. -
What is the PFP?

It consists of a wide range of multidisciplinary training experiences that complement the university study programs. The total duration is 70 hours per year for students enrolled in bachelor’s degree programs and 25 hours for those enrolled in master’s degree programs.

Can I choose the training hours to follow?

It is possible to choose the composition of your PFP but each student of Collegio will have to plan
– 70 hours of training per year for those attending the first 3 years of university
– 25 hours of training per year for those attending the following yearsThe minimum number of training hours is required by ministerial decrees 672 and 673 of 2016.

What is the PFP?

What is the ultimate goal of the training at the Collegio?

The goal of the training at the Collegio is to support university students in becoming aware individuals, citizens, and professionals: aware of their resources, the world around them, and their potential to create a positive impact in social, environmental, and economic growth and improvement.

What kind of training path are foreseen in the PFP?

The PFP includes courses aimed at perfecting the study method, at acquiring self-awareness and one’s own resources, at reinforcing soft skills, at guiding one’s study and work choices, and at reinforcing English language skills, at supporting the own psycho-physical well-being, to explore the territory and generate impact in the reference community.

Where can I read the rules concerning the management of the Training Plan, including the management of absences from courses?

Will the courses take place face to face or online?
-
There is no single answer to this question: courses can take place in person, online or in mixed mode. All information is available in the box of the single activity on the dedicated platform.

What happens if I don’t finish the Training Plan by the end of the academic year?
-
It makes it impossible to apply for confirmation of the place of study for the following academic year and involves the loss of the security deposit.

Once my Training Plan has been completed, can I change it during the year?
-
It is possible to modify your Training Plan through the dedicated platform at any time during the year, but making sure that the modification takes place at least 7 days before the start of the activities, so as not to compromise its development. To make a change to your Training Plan, contact your Venue Director.

How can I contact the Tutor?

You will meet him upon your arrival at the College or, in the event of his temporary absence, in the days immediately following.
Admission

Who can participate in the admission process?
-
Italian and international students (EU and non-EU) enrolling in the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of a first-cycle/single-cycle degree program, enrolling in the 1st year of a master’s degree program, a first-level master’s program, or the 4th year of a single-cycle degree program.

When is it possible to apply for admission?
-
You can apply for admission from March 17, 2025 to June 30, 2025. It will in no way be possible to apply for admission outside the application period.

How is the application presented?
-
You can submit your admission application exclusively through the Student Portal: select the academic year 2025/26, complete the ADMISSION (BAM) section, and upload the required documents in the UPLOAD DOCUMENTS BAM section.
If you wish to be placed in one of the seven contribution brackets, also complete the INCOME DATA section, where you will need to upload an ISEE certificate issued in 2025 and applicable to subsidized services for university education.

What are the merit criteria to participate in the admission process?

You can find all the participation requirements based on your academic category in chapter 1.3 of the admission process for the academic year 2025/26.
We would like to remind you that the admission process consists of an evaluation of academic/scholastic merit, along with an assessment of your potential and motivation.

What is meant by accreditation and login?
-
To fill in the admission application, you must be accredited on the Student Portal. The login details are set by the student during accreditation.

How will the ranking be built?
-
For each academic category, a sub-ranking will be created for each of the seven ISEE contribution brackets, resulting in a total of 35 distinct rankings. These will be determined based on:
- A total score out of 100, calculated by summing the evaluation of academic merit (up to a maximum of 60/100) and potential (up to a maximum of 40/100).
- In the case of a tie, the lower ISEE value will prevail. For students in the VII bracket with the same score, ranking order will be determined based on the date and time of application submission, and in the event of another tie, by a random draw.
All candidates who complete the admission process and meet the minimum academic merit requirements will be included in the rankings.

I have an ISEE higher than € 55,001.00, do I need to present an ISEE certificate?
-
Students who are in possession of an ISEE certificate with a value greater than € 55,001.00 can decide to make use of the option not to submit the ISEE certificate and will be automatically placed in the VII contribution bracket.

From what day will it be possible for the winners of the admission process to benefit from the study place in the College?
-
The winners of the admission process, during the first assignment, will be able to enter the Collegio starting from 10 September 2025.
The winners and the winners of subsequent scrolls will see the entry date in the hospitality contract.

How will you know your position in the ranking?
-
To find out their position in the ranking, the student must connect to the Student Portal:
• the students on the waiting list will be indicated the position within the specific ranking for their academic category and their contribution bracket;
• the unsuitable students will see the reason for exclusion within the specific ranking. -
When will the results of the admission process be published?
-
The results of the admission process for the 2025/26 academic year will be published on the Student Portal in the RANKING RESULTS section of the relevant academic year.
The provisional rankings will be published by August 4, 2025, and the final rankings will be released by August 7, 2025.

Will those who are “eligible on the waiting list” at the time of publication of the rankings be able to obtain the assignment of a study place during the academic year 2025/26?
-
Yes, students who are eligible but not initially awarded a study place will see their position on the waiting list within the specific ranking. As the College processes reallocations, students on the waiting list may be assigned a study place as new spots become available throughout the academic year. These reallocations will continue until the waiting lists are exhausted, but no later than May 31, 2026.
The notification of a study place assignment following a ranking reallocation will be sent to the student within three working days via a ticket on the Student Portal.

What is meant by “Reordering of waiting lists”?
-
Indicatively, during the months of October 2025 and February 2026, the Board will proceed with the reorganization of the waiting lists, requesting confirmation of its willingness to continue to remain included in said lists, in the eventuality of assignment of study places during the academic year. Students on the waiting list undertake to periodically connect to the Collegio’s website and social pages for information on how to participate in the reorganization of the waiting lists.
Those who do not participate in the reorganization of the waiting lists within the terms that will be defined by the Board, will be automatically considered as renouncing the place of study and canceled from the waiting lists. -
How can I be placed in one of the seven contribution brackets?

If you wish to be placed in one of the seven contribution brackets, you must also complete the INCOME DATA section, where you will need to upload an ISEE certificate issued in 2025 and applicable to subsidized services for university education.
For more information, please contact a CAAF center or visit the official INPS website. There is no need to provide the DSU.
Please note that the following students will automatically be placed in the highest contribution bracket (VII bracket):
- Students who declare in their application that they choose not to submit the ISEE certification issued in 2025 and applicable to university financial aid.
- Students who, despite requesting placement in one of the seven contribution brackets, submit an ISEE certification that is NOT applicable to university financial aid, contains discrepancies/omissions, or was not issued in 2025.
- Students who, despite requesting placement in one of the seven contribution brackets, fail to complete the INCOME DATA section on the Student Portal before the application deadline.

On the basis of what criteria are assigned to the various sections of Collegio?
-
The assignment to the specific Section will take place in accordance with the order of preference expressed in the application for admission, taking into account the rooms that will remain progressively available by proceeding to assign them to the newly admitted students in descending order of merit.
The assignment cannot be changed; it is possible to request the transfer of the section during the confirmation phase of the study place for the following academic year. -
In case of winning a study place in Collegio, what are the acceptance methods?

Winning students who intend to accept the study place must:
– pay the 1st installment and the security deposit and upload the payment receipts in the OTHER DOCUMENTS area of the Student Portal, according to the deadlines indicated in chap. 2.3 – FEE AND CONTRIBUTION BANDS and detailed in the notification of assignment of the study place;
– sign the hospitality contract that will be made available in the area DON’T LOSE SIGHT! of the Student Portal and upload it to the OTHER DOCUMENTS area of the Student Portal;
– Starting from September 2025, select the available training activities from the PFP platform catalog.Failure to comply with the instructions in the assignment notification within the specified deadline will be considered as an implicit renunciation of the study place and will result in exclusion from the admission rankings for the 2025/26 academic year.

I am winner of a study place and I have to fill in the Personalized Training Plan (PFP). Where can I choose the training activities?

All training activities will be accessible through the PFP platform. For any questions or guidance regarding your training path at the College, we encourage you to contact your Section Director or Training Design Expert (TDE) at the email address provided in the study place assignment notification.

What can I do if I have not found answers to my questions in this list?

Open a ticket at the Admissions and Confirmations Office via the TICKET area of the Student Portal. If you are not a winner / winner of a study place, do not select any location in the relevant field.

Can donations made to Collegio Einaudi be deducted for tax purposes?

Donations from individuals are not currently deductible.
On the other hand, contributions or donations from legal entities are tax deductible and fall within the provisions of art. 100 paragraph 2 ° letter a) of the D.P.R. 22/12/86 No. 917 and subsequent amendments, within the limit of 2% of the declared business income. -
I would like to make a will in favor of Collegio, what should I indicate in the document?

In drafting the will, which must be written by hand or prepared at a notary, it is necessary to indicate: ‘I leave the following property to Fondazione Collegio Universitario Einaudi and, if desired, you can also indicate one or more destinations, among the following :
1) Awards and scholarships
2) Fund for the reduction of fees
3) Building redevelopment projects
4) Institutional and statutory activity
In the absence of a specific destination, the Collegio Board of Directors will assign the funds with a specific resolution.
