The Collegio Einaudi Foundation brings its students to visit … CERN in Geneva!
The Cultural Experience Abroad is a unique opportunity to discover new places, important scenarios and create new bonds of friendship.
The activity is included in the training offer of the Collegio and participation will be worth 8 hours PFP.
Program
The following program is intended to be indicative and not exhaustive.
Specific times will be communicated a couple of days in advance to the participants selected on the basis of the access ranking.
- Departure early in the morning, arriving in Geneva by early afternoon
- Packed lunch to be paid by the participants
- Visit to different sites of the accelerator complex, accompanied by Prof. Gagliardi, owner of the “Alice” experiment
- Dinner and night in the hotel Hotel Nash Airport: half board included in the participation fee, in double or multiple rooms
- After breakfast, visit to different sites of the accelerator complex, accompanied by Prof. Gagliardi, owner of the “Alice” experiment
- Independent lunch at the expense of the participants
- In the afternoon, departure for return, with arrival expected within the early evening.
Available places
The 46 places available for the Cultural Experience Abroad of the academic year 22/23 of the 1st semester, are reserved in proportion to the number of students occupying each residence hall itself, or distributed as follows
Costs
The participation fee is equal to € 229.00 per participant.
Each student will receive a contribution to cover the costs of the trip equal to € 50 thanks to funds from the Fondazione Collegio Einaudi intended – in agreement with the Student Council a.y. 21/22 – in favor of international mobility.
Therefore the contribution paid by the student is equal to € 179.
How to participate and terms of payment
LAST MINUTE: each student interested is required to fill in his application form to the Venue Director Valentino Antonio Punzo by and no later than 18 November 2022 at 18:00, together with the simultaneous delivery of the participation fee in cash.
Waivers
Once payment has been made, no waivers will be accepted, except for duly justified serious impediments.
The fee paid will be refunded only if the Management finds a replacement among the members.
